The 2025 Saudi Poultry Exhibition (MEP) will grandly open at the Riyadh International Exhibition Center. As the most influential protein industry event in the Middle East,this exhibition has for the first time featured China as the guest of honor, attracting over 500 exhibiting companies from 35 countries and regions around the world.

The overseas sales team of Sunrise (Xuzhou) Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd – (Sunrise Rendering) was invited to make a collective appearance at MEP.

Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030” clearly puts forward to build the country into a global food industry center, in which the efficient use of protein by-products and environmental protection treatment is the key development direction. In this context, this year’s MEP exhibition has set up a special exhibition area of “Green Protein Processing”, focusing on sustainable development solutions.

This is the second time that Sunrise Rendering has participated in MEP Saudi Arabia. As the world’s leading protein processing equipment manufacturer,we return to this important market with more mature technical solutions and deeper localization understanding.

On the first day of the exhibition, the SUNRISE booth welcomed a number of important visitors, including officials from the Saudi Ministry of Agriculture,Minister of Environment, Water and Agricultural Affairs, Eng.Abdulrahman Al-Fadley,and executives from food companies under the PIF (Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund).In particular, we showcased several solutions tailored for the Saudi market:

2.Whole-process halal certification program: from raw material processing to finished product packaging,the whole process ensures compliance with Shariah requirements .

4. AI-based intelligent control system:realize digital management of the whole production process

5.Modular equipment design: help small and medium-sized enterprises gradually realize industrial upgrading.

These technologies are fully in line with the strategic objectives of Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030”on environmental protection and digital transformation, and received unanimous praise from the participating experts.

During the exhibition, SUNRISE signed strategic cooperation memorandums with a number of leading agribusiness companies in Saudi Arabia, including:

Preliminary cooperation agreements have been reached with several major poultry companies, including Almarai and Alwadi,and a partnership has been established with SIRC (Saudi Investment and Research Center for Environmental Conservation) to develop protein processing technologies suited to the Middle East climate.

These cooperation not only reflects the recognition of SUNRISE’s technical strength in the Saudi market,but also is an important milestone for us to fulfill our “localization strategy.As the General Manager of SUNRISE said in an interview with the Ministry of Agriculture,“We are not just coming to Saudi Arabia to sell equipment, but to become a long-term partner in the transformation of the Saudi protein industry.”
